Sherine Thorpe is a third year Chemistry Pre-Medical student at Florida A & M University. Currently, she is working on the Synthesis of Lanthanum Manganate using Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis (USP) method. Sherine is a member of Alpha Chi Sigma Fraternity, the Transfer Students Association as well as the Caribbean Students Association.

Bianca Mitchell is a second year sophomore majoring in Biochemistry at Florida A&M University. She is currently conducting research focused on the production of SiO2 nanofibers via electrospinning with Dr. Senevirathne. Bianca is currently a member of Alpha Chi Sigma, Rattlers Association of Chemists (RAC), and FLSGAMP.
Lynn Huynh
Lynn Huynh is a second year pre-pharmacy student at Florida A&M University. She is currently working on heterogenous catalysts for biodiesel production. She volunteers with Big Bend Cares and tutors pre-pharmacy students chemistry through the CARES program.
Sihala is a student at Deerlake middle school and will start his high school at Chiles in Fall 2017. In this summer, he is working on the Synthesis of mesoporous carbon by hydrothermal synthesis and WO3/SiO2 by solution phase methods.
